Services questions
Not sure which service fits your bid? Call and describe the job.
Can you estimate just one trade, or does it have to be the whole project?
Either. Many subcontractors send a single trade, such as electrical or drywall. General contractors often send the full set for every CSI division.
Do you estimate both union and non-union work?
Yes. Tell us how you plan to staff the job and the estimate is priced to union wage packages, open shop rates or NYS prevailing wage for public work.
Which file types can you work from?
PDF drawing sets, CAD files (DWG, DXF), Revit models and scanned plans. Specifications and addenda help us price the job correctly.
Do you estimate projects outside New York City?
Yes. We also estimate work on Long Island, in Westchester and across the wider tri-state area.
How is the estimate formatted?
You receive an Excel workbook organized by CSI MasterFormat division, marked-up takeoff PDFs and a list of assumptions and exclusions.
